Ugandan musician Eddy Kenzo has spoken out about the confusion at his Arua show. After performing in Adjumani, Kenzo and his team arrived in Arua early on Saturday, ready for the event.
However, the show's promoter was arrested over fraud and unpaid debts, leaving more than 25 people demanding payment.
As tensions rose, Kenzo was advised not to attend the venue due to safety concerns. Local artists also refused to perform because they weren’t paid.
Kenzo has apologized to his Arua fans and clarified that rumors about his team knocking someone are false. He promises better organization in the future.
